Carrier VRF installation for the Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO) office complex.

Description

Our team completed a comprehensive Carrier VRF installation for the Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO) office complex. The project featured 3 Carrier SMMS-7 outdoor VRF units, each rated at 24 HP, providing a total cooling capacity of approximately 72 HP (≈690,000 BTU/h). A total of 38 indoor units were installed, consisting of 16 concealed duct units, 15 cassette-type units (2-way and 4-way discharge), and 7 small-capacity ducts for individual rooms. The entire system was designed for balanced cooling, low energy consumption, and quiet operation.

All refrigerant piping, drainage, and control cabling were routed above the ceiling with precise insulation and alignment to maintain a clean professional finish.

The scope of work included:

  • Delivery and positioning of all chiller units according to engineered layout plans.
  • Installation and alignment of chilled water and condenser piping systems.
  • Integration of electrical and control systems with the mall's existing Building Management System (BMS).
  • Pressure and leak testing, system flushing, and piping insulation.
  • Start-up assistance, testing, and commissioning in coordination with Carrier technical specialists.
